Bristol Observatory Workshop with the Barton Hill-based youth group

As part of Bristol’s GREENGAGE Observatory, a new workshop is scheduled for June 10, 2024, organized by GREENGAGE partner Bristol City Council. This workshop aims to engage the Barton Hill-based youth group, Bristol Somali Youth Voice. The goal is to empower and inform the local community, particularly under-represented young people, about journey safety in the urban environment.

To launch this initiative, Bristol City Council will host an interactive training session with Bristol Somali Youth Voice. During this session, participants will learn to use GREENGAGE’s cutting-edge technology through practical examples, preparing them for real-world application. Participants will monitor the local environment, identify key safety concerns, and assess threat levels using innovative apps like the MindView App and GREENGAGE App. These tools are expected to enhance Bristol’s efforts in reporting and improving local safety.
